WhiteWater/CleanLies

At the seat of empire

Africa is forced to self/blame

Devastated and inflicted

A rich world inane

Full-spectrum dominance

Guarantees supremacy

A messianic empire cult worships itself

Solemnly

G8 leaders declare deliverance from evil economies

Self sacrifice for the good of lesser nations

In the name of misused concepts

Like freedom and good will

Charlatans

Proposing solutions from up on high

No acknowledgement for problems self/designed

I suppose it’s traditional, when empires celebrate

That its vassal states come to pay tribute and beg for deliverance

While troubles exacerbate

It’s a new partnership for Africa’s development

Placing the blame for her tribulations on herself

Winning a few crumbs of aid and extra debt relief

Poverty reduction strategies spell g.r.i.e.f

The continent's leaders tell the rich world what it wants to hear

Debt

The underlying problem

Her deficit is one component of a vast and growing globalism

Debt based banking systems aren’t mentioned

The consequences for national democracy are devastating

Debts discharged through more debt are compounded by the policing system

Rather than a self/correcting mechanism

African voters can demand a change of government

But cannot demand a change of policy

She accepts a burden she cannot lift

Whilst democracy in the motherland is meaningless

Until its leaders are prepared to challenge the external control of their economies

Embracing them are the authors of their misfortunes

Structural adjustment is the nemesis of her development

Nations

Dismantle state support and privatise their economies

In return for minimal concessions on trade and aid involuntarily

Promises to eliminate poverty failing so spectacularly in the rich world

Are forced on Africa with crippling impediments

The key constraint is climatic uncertainty

The continent's leaders absolve the G8 nations of all responsibility

Self/determination is an admirable goal

But without control over economic policy,

It’s pure pretentiousness
